: Our itinerary was supposed to be Eastern Caribbean (Nassau, St Thomas, St Maarten) but due to "Earl", we were changed to their Western Caribbean itinerary (Cozumel, Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya). We live in Florida so we certainly understand about tropical systems and the need to stay safe, but were still just a little disappointed because we did a very similar trip on the Legend last September. The ship was easy to navigate and well-layed out, but we didn't understand why they would put the adult-only serenity area right past the water slide. Kids being kids, it could be quite loud! Food was good, lots of options for lunch (pasta bar, tandoori, mongolian bbq in addition to the regular buffet) but lines could be quite long. Had an issue one day with no hot water (we heard some folks had no water at all), but they gave free drinks for an hour at the Deck 5 bars for the inconvenience. Entertainment was your standard cruise ship stuff; we felt it was just average. We had the typical Carnival balcony stateroom, adequate in size, but we could hear the singing/music quite loud from the bar one deck below us into late at night and one of the cabin steward stations was right across the hall. FYI-Deck 6, starboard, aft. It was very easy to get on and off the ship. In spite of a few issues, we still had a very good time. If we were to book on the Dream again for the Eastern Caribbean itinerary, we would pay the higher cost and go in the spring to avoid hurricanes!

: What a wonderful cruise. Excellent service and excellent food. We would definitely sail with Azamara again and recommend this cruise line for anyone looking for a really enjoyable multi-port cruise. The Azamara "All Inclusive" program should be the model program for all other cruise lines.

: 1) Embarkation: SLOW! Going through metal detectors was a joke. Once we got up to desk..went faster.

2) Ship: It's an oldie and is shows it!

3) Cabins: SMALL!

4) Food: Nothing to write home about...Lido deck buffet often crowded..but ok. Sometimes waiters would look the other way if you needed a refill on coffee

5) Dining: Service ok, waiters friendly overall

6) Bars: Ok...if you had a soda card some waiters were slow to serve

7) Coco Cay Private Island: A 10! Great island..lots to do..IF you get to stop there! Many times they can't, but when they can..it's the BEST

8) Shows: Great! Don't miss them!

9) Quest Game: Don't miss it

10) Loyalty to passengers: 10...Great party for Crown and Anchor folks..Don't miss it

11) Debarkation: Ok

12) Parking at Port Canaveral: a 10. Great in and out!

Overall...if you get a great price...it's a great get-a-way, but it's time for the Monarch to be retired.

: Hi...Scott Lara here from Cruise Radio! My wife and I went on the Fascination back in April of 10.

1) Embarkation was ok...Get there early

2) Food was nothing to write home about...VERY long lines at buffet.

3) Cabin...we were up on deck 11 (inside) GREAT cabin. Ship was recently refurbished..nice and clean!

4) Shows...Incredible!

5) Bars...on the lido deck, only one would be open at a time...didn't like that at all

6) Dinner...Service fast and friendly, but food was only fair

7) Unruly kids at sea...I can understand families being on vacation..but parents..come on...control your kids better!

8)Debarkation...a breeze

Overall...Good ship, but watch for the good prices! Tune in to Cruise Radio.net for more reviews, tips and interviews!
